What insurance do you accept?
We accept most major insurance plans. Your visit is billed as a telemedicine family practice evaluation — you pay only your regular primary care co-pay. Note: insurance patients require a virtual visit before any lab orders are placed.
What if I don't have insurance?
No problem. Virtual visits are $85 flat — no insurance needed. General lab work like CBC, metabolic panels, and testosterone are walk-in with no consultation required. For STD/STI testing, a brief virtual consultation is recommended so your provider can order the right tests and avoid unnecessary labs.
How do I get the 15% student discount?
Show your college ID when you walk in for your lab draw at our clinic. The discount applies to all College Doc lab tests — general labs and STD/STI testing. If you choose off-site collection at a Quest Patient Service Center, the student discount still applies and a $12.50 Off-Site Collection Convenience Fee is added to your order.
Do I need a consultation for walk-in lab tests?
No — general lab tests like CBC, metabolic panels, TSH, and testosterone are walk-in, no consultation required. For STD/STI testing, a brief virtual consultation is recommended for all patients so your provider can review your situation and order only the tests you need.
Can I choose to have my labs collected at Quest?
Yes. After your lab order is placed, you may have your specimen collected either at College Doc (St. Elizabeth Urgent Care) or at an affiliated Quest Patient Service Center. Lab pricing is the same at both locations. A $12.50 Off-Site Collection Convenience Fee applies when you choose a Quest Patient Service Center for specimen collection.
How do I get my lab results?
Once your results are in, you can download them directly from the patient portal. Results typically come back within 1–3 business days. If you'd like to go over your results with a provider, feel free to book a follow-up appointment with us.
Can I get a prescription during my visit?
Yes — if medically appropriate, your provider can send a prescription directly to your preferred pharmacy during or after your visit.
